Design Dilemma
Debbie Wallace visited our showroom looking to update some of the existing things in her new home. She wanted to dress up the windows and make them more unique to her, and coordinate with a toned down the paint color on the walls. Her goal was to create a more whimsical, warm, inviting look.
Here's What We Did...
Starting in the living room, we designed a window treatment with a soft flowing valance in a warm green fabric trimmed in a sparkling red trim. This was finished on a decorative rod to achieve the whimsical look for the client. We also rearranged the existing furniture to create a more inviting atmosphere.
In the breakfast nook windows, we incorporated two valances that have a nice style with a soft flowing feel. We dressed up the French door with a fabric roman shade in a complimenting fabric.
With the window treatments designed and fabric selected, we toned down the bright yellow walls with a cozy neutral to finish the rooms off to give it that warm and inviting feeling.
