Design Dilemma - September 2005
This month's Design Dilemma illustrates an issue that impacts most every project - cost.
Shelly and Gerry brought this to us:
"We may not be living in our home for more than
a few years because of our jobs, but we would like to
have a home that is complete and comfortable without investing
in such things as drapery treatments, or new paint on
the walls that may not appeal to someone else's taste
if we should have to sell the home."

How We Helped
Wendy Fletcher, Design Consultant at Designs of the Interior in Jacksonville brought Shelly and Gerry this solution: Our plan was to add color without buying expensive drapery
treatments and painting walls. The room was furnished with neutral tones, so we added color in accents, such as pillows,
throws, rugs, and cushions. We even added color with inexpensive
window treatments that cover just the top of the windows.
