This month's Design Dilemma helps a homeowner combine Asian accents to create elegant comfort at home.
Maryann and Alvin's Formal Style - BEFORE
Our Design Dilemma this month came from Maryann and Alvin.
They wanted to utilize their beautiful Asian accents pieces to create an elegant yet comfortable feel in their living room.
Here's What We Did...
Our design team, led by Shannon, selected a gorgeous paisley print to reupholster one of there existing chairs, and introduced a color pallet that would allow their open floor plan to flow through out their new home.
The couple enjoys blue hues with a mix of earth tones to add warmth to their living area. Keeping this in mind, transitional styled furniture was selected along with some additional Asian flair accents to compliment their existing pieces.
The couple was thrilled to see the room come together. Maryann told us "we can now sit back and relax while enjoying the new beauty of our home!"
