Design Dilemma - January 2006
|
 Maryann's Dining Room - BEFORE |
This month's Design
Dilemma helps a homeowner enhance an adjoining room
after a remodeling project.
Our Design Dilemma this month came from Maryann. She had just recently finished
having her kitchen remodeled and she needed to update
the dining space to create an uncluttered, clean look
that would compliment the remodeling.
Here's What We Did...
Shannon, one of our design consultants, led this project
to bring to life our clients vision. The homes
architecture had subtle curved walls, and the new kitchen
was painted a pale blue.
 Dining Area - AFTER |
We continued the paint color
into the dining area, and added a dining suite that accented
the curved lines of the home.
We choose a fabric for the
chairs that complimented the walls and added some whimsical
flair to the room.
The result is a room with a clean modern
look that is elegant for dinner parties, but functional
for everyday life.
